Is it politics that divides people, or more just dishonesty?

Those that support the dishonesty blindly
Without fact is what sets me off. Dangerous times are around the corner if we aren’t careful

@TexChik I'd prefer someone I disagree with over a dishonest person of any opinion.

@TexChik Yeah we all have our triggers. Like me, I get pissed if a woman accuses me of something for which I’m not guilty, after I try to help her. :)

I think it is a combination of both. We see so many politicians spreading lies, but then we have sheep following along blindly and trusting every word.

@FrankietheFly Politics in itself is not dishonest, as politics is not a sentient being.

Dishonesty. Either side has points that can benefit the other, when honesty and fairness are applied evenly. Its only those seeking to bend the rules and tilt the playing field who gain an advantage at the expense of the other side.

Politics. People can honestly believe some crazy stuff that hurts everyone and it's frustrating. Facts aren't good enough for some people. When that happens, honesty is irrelevant.

Poor response to cognitive dissonance, which could be called dishonesty.

Politics IS dishonesty, at the moment anyway.

Hm. You would think skin color and religion would have something to do with it too
