Actually, I think they can be compared directly. Both ran financial schemes that worked for a time before unraveling. Madoff is serving the rest of his life in prison. Trump's schemes are unraveling by the day as more light is shed on the Trump Organization and his closed and failed foundation.

@sunsporter1649 And the Clintons have never been charged with anything, even when the Republicans are in control of the presidency, House, Senate, and Supreme Court. Republicans just bitch and moan about it, even when they are in a position to charge them. Funny how that happened.
