It never should be too surprising.The news media always relied on sensationalism and controversial angst or gawking to peddle what they do.
Now that they don't hold a major share of view and reader interest by the largest demographic, they seem to think that making social conflicts is a good way to increase thier market share and grab advertising or campign revenue streams.
