You must have watched her little press act. It's hilarious to watch the dumdums running to the cameras to declare there is no national emergency. But where were they when odumbo declared an emergency 13 times when he really just wanted to do stuff he couldn't get congress to do.

Cheer up. Trump should have a better chance at getting a wall built with the courts then he ever did playing shutdowns with Congress. Federal Judges are appointed for life, and can do what they think is right without regard to perceived voter sentiment.

@MistyCee Grimacing and gritting my teeth is more like it. I absolutely hate Congress, the DOJ is a giant suck, and state governors are experts in egomaniacal mismanagement.

@4meAndyou Sorry about that. Look at it this way, if Trump wins here, he won't really need much from Congress from here on out, and the same emergency rationale could apply to subverting state sovereignty as well. Having a Supreme Ruler isn't my cup of tea, but if that's what you want, this is the best first step towards it.
