A case study in hypocrisy ?

By branding all , and any , criticism of Israel from the left as anti-semitic , while at the same time turning a blind eye to supporters who are clearly of that persuasion , and encouraging the behaviour itself by passing on anti-semitic memes about George Soros and the global elites etc. ( Stand up Kevin McCarthy , Donald Trump et al). Is the outrage real or are we just being gaslighted once again ?

Branding any criticism of Israel as anti-Semitic is a very convenient shield from being forced to acknowledge the gross human rights violations that Israel constantly commits against Palestine. When I am in the office of the President, I'm going to like that s*** on fire.
The anti-Semitic angle to the Trump administration is clearly there, but it's really screwed up with Kushner playing to the orthodox/right wing Jewish folks.

@MistyCee Kushner knows where his power base is , just like Trump , bag the Zionists and you bring along the Evangelicals too. Not forgetting of course all those nice big loans that suddenly came his way from Israel during the transition.
@RodionRomanovitch I dont really think Kushner can bag all of the "Zionists", but I agree with you on the strategy.

The AIPAC folks are not unified where Trump is concerned.

I must say, I wish the Labour Party right would pay more attention to this.

@RodionRomanovitch On that I agree but it's not all Rawsley is saying. The forces of the Labour right used Brexit as an excuse for the coup after the Brexit ref and they are now planning a breakaway party, like the sdp of 1983

@Burnley123 As he points out though , that way inevitably leads to failure , so what could they really hope to gain , unless just the threat itself leads to Corbyn being toppled ?

@RodionRomanovitch I think they hate corbyn and his brand of politics as much as they hate the Conservatives.this is not true of all Labour MPs but it is true of the minority who are talking about splitting.
You know, I’ve wondered how the right always claims “Israel—right or wrong” while trashing George Soros. Wonder if they even know he survived the Holocaust ? Of course, so many of the right are Holocaust deniers too, so it’s a paradox.
