Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez for 2024?

I saw her speech yesterday, neutral and cutting deep. Could she be a presidential candidate, and if she was, could she win?

@MasterLee So I'm a low IQ poster? I don't get triggered by comments like that so you can move on and have a conversation with the likes of high IQ @carsonfry. Okay? 😝

You guys crack me up. So funny. 😂
MasterLee · 56-60, M
@SimplyTracie I never direct such comments toward you. In fact I go out of my way not to.
SimplyTracie · 26-30, F
@MasterLee Oh okay I apologize. 😞
And I apologize for hijacking your thread. Peace.

Good God! Please tell me we are not THAT screwed! But, given her "rockstar" status, that would be enough to get her elected. Doesn't matter whether she could actually do the job or not.

@IstillmissEP But the media hates her. When he said "rockstar status" he was referring to voters, and her social media presence. Because the media hates her guts since she bucks establishment narratives by being anti-war and pro-working class.
@PrivateHell She’d be an improvement over that narcissistic racist in the White House right now. If he could get elected, all bets are off.
SW-User
Of course she could be a candidate; just about anyone can be. I doubt she'd become a nominee or a President, however.

But then again, after Trump was elected there's no longer any kind of "bar" to who can become president. Anyone can if they promise the right things.
MasterLee · 56-60, M
@SW-User that ship sailed with bill clinton
BlueMetalChick · 26-30, F
@SW-User Well, most of her policy platform is overwhelmingly popular when polled among Americans, especially democrats but even republicans. So I wouldn't say it's that far fetched.
SimplyTracie · 26-30, F
Not in 2024 I don’t think. But I wish her success as a Congresswoman

@MasterLee Of course... let's all go ahead and believe a meme from an extremely biased right leaning org without any listed sources...

I think she seems the type to be in a Disney movie or show.

Nope. Many reasons.
marriedplus3 · 31-35, M
She is very concerned about farting cows. And the impact it has on global warming. Lmao 😂
QuixoticSoul · 41-45, M
@hippyjoe1955 Wow joe, you really are in top form lately, amazing. Literally everything you said right there is just astoundingly stupid. Truly.
@hippyjoe1955 Maybe we should build a wall using specially bread farting cows.
@hippyjoe1955 Actually NASA came up with some type of a balloon that fits over the cows ass - when it farts enough, the bag inflates and they are lifted over a volcano and dropped in.

I think we need her in Congress though. President has such limited power to affect change. We need a lot more of her type creating legislation.
ViciDraco · 36-40, M
@BlueMetalChick People tend to fixate on what they are afraid of.

In the town of Bedrock, maybe..and that's a big maybe
BlueMetalChick · 26-30, F
@Mysti Bedrock is from the Flintstones, who were cave people. That's the point of the show. They're in the Stone Age.
Mysti · 51-55, F
No, they are a "modern Stone Age family". And let's not forget it's a cartoon..
BlueMetalChick · 26-30, F
@Mysti Which is why Fred could throw the bowling ball and make it crack in half to hit both pins.
BlueMetalChick · 26-30, F
She's too young still. You have to be 35 to run for president but she's only in her 20's still.
@BlueMetalChick i think she will be 35 in October 2024 so she will be just about? Or do you have to be 35 at time of application or something
BlueMetalChick · 26-30, F
@AndrewtheAlu Of that I am unsure. You're right that she'll be 35 in October 2024 but I'm not certain whether a candidate must be 35 when the campaign begins or just when they take office.

@IstillmissEP People say the same thing about Trump. 😝
BlueMetalChick · 26-30, F
@IstillmissEP I'd be careful calling people morons if I were you. You believe that Michelle Obama is a man who had a sex change, and your only evidence is a joke that Joan Rivers made when she called Barack Obama a faggot.
QuixoticSoul · 41-45, M
I like her enough but nah.
How about for 2069

Just because of a speech? Seems like we've tried that kind of hire out already.

@MarkPaul lol, I wasn’t throwing myself behind her or anything. I was just finding out what people thought
MarkPaul · 26-30, M
@silmarilion456 Obama and the gutless and failing Baby-trump both lacked relevant experience and were voted in largely on the basis of the speeches they gave. Isn't it time to try someone with experience on how to govern?

@silmarilion456 Well she doesn't support even a single communist principle but that's alright because you didn't know that. As for "wetback mud race" feel free to oppose politicians purely based on their race. Identity politics is for whiny little snowflakes.
hippyjoe1955 · 61-69, M
She has the IQ of a low wattage light bulb. Not worth even considering. Already she is plagiarizing on her website.

@silmarilion456 well, maybe not deep, but exposing exactly how politics in America can be and has corrupted and how at the moment, there’s nothing anyone can do about it

@silmarilion456 well if you saw the same thing I saw, you heard her talk about how someone with bad, self-serving intentions can get backing by big industry leaders and have the power to benefit themselves at the expense of everyone else. It isn’t nearly *the most* corrupt system, don’t get me wrong, but it definitely needs some improvement

@DuchessOfMapleSyrup For example...?
ViciDraco · 36-40, M
@bijouxbroussard because people disagree on a fundamental level they take statements such as the existence of billionaires while we still have homeless people is immoral as ignorant. It's really sad when people think disagreeing with them is a reflection on the intelligence of others.
