@Dan509 There are over 50 court cases still pending from extending the border wall in 2006. Many of these deal with fair compensation for taken property.

And, let's not forget the sections of the Rio Grande, that serve as a natural border. Are we going to put a wall in the middle of the river, or create an additional no-man land, in between dry land and the river?
