This is a real thing. It really happened. 58,000 illegal immigrants voted in the last election in Texas. Your thoughts?

AbbeyRhode · F
Not a bit surprised. And considering which party fights to the death for them, while not shedding one crocodile tear for our veterans sleeping on the streets, we all know how they voted. It's why that same party so violently opposes voter ID.
AbbeyRhode · F
@puck61 I know what you mean. I don't even like using the word 'hate', but I've never seen evil like that which has shown itself in the last two years.
@AbbeyRhode It's like a nightmare.
AbbeyRhode · F
@puck61 It's pretty ugly, but we have to keep the faith, and support the truth.
therighttothink50 · 56-60, M
And they will continue to vote because nobody does anything about it. The left is in the process of destroying this country and nobody but Trump is willing to stand up to their illogic and tyranny.

This is the end game, a full destruction of our borders, freedom of speech, the second amendment and our republic is now in full swing. Sixty years of unfettered leftist utopian globalism is destroying western civilization. People are now consumed with irrelevant matters, false narratives and their own self-gratification. They don't have the knowledge or courage to fight the real enemy so they fight Trump, a sick and twisted reality.

There are still good people out their fighting this tyranny and we won't stop until our last breath. The left in this country has now become a vile and demonic plague. Their ideology must be eradicated from the planet or humanity will become extinct. If people only knew the sick and twisted world they are ushering in through AI. Many people have fallen asleep at the switch. The doomsday clock is currently two minutes to midnight and most people are chasing the wind as they stare into screens totally unable to react and fight this evil.

This is like a dreamworld, nobody could imagine how brainwashed people have become. Trump must declassify all the documents exposing this tyranny and start making arrests. Time is running out now as the tech tyrants have started purging all Conservative websites and writers from the internet. It is now defcon 5, and this is not hyperbole.

Imagine how many voted in California
4meAndyou · F
@eli1601 I can't. They are saying that is the entire point of all of this. We need to give some thought to patriotism.
Wernt the dems mysteriously finding boxes of ballets in the boots of cars weeks after broward county? Ole Brenda..?
4meAndyou · F
@TheOneyouwerewarnedabout Yeah. But we are talking about Texas now.
The leftists will scoff and put out fake statistics , but we have known this has been going on for a while. Welcome to the wonderful world of progressivism. Welcome to the new democrat party. This is why they don't want any significant border security.
*Two Russian bombers were escorted out of US air space this morning. That was called a dry run. Maybe we are finally divided enough to conquer.
Xuan12 · 31-35, M
That sounds false, but let's suppose it actually is true. Texas has one of the strictest voter ID laws in the nation. I guess it didn't work.
4meAndyou · F
@MistyCee Just read both of them. Thanks for the links. The Texas Tribune seems to have the information that I heard. The blog link appears to be trash.

BTW...just wanted to say that the media has created this situation, where facts are twisted sooo often we cannot trust anything we hear at all. If you suggest something is fact, you have immediate denial based on partisanship.
@4meAndyou I figured you'd feel that way about Media Matters. Its on my fringe left feed, mostly for when I feel like reading some dirt about Hannity, since it really gets under his skin and vice versa.

curiosi · 61-69, F
Happened in my state as well. It's why libs are opposing the border wall so hard. You can bet if they were voting rep they would be pushing for the wall.
@curiosi The FBI would've colluded with the deep state to manufacture all kinds of crimes to allege against anyone who resisted. Then the predawn raids would be pointed the other direction. That's the biggest problem with the democrats. They have absolutely no sense of 'fair play'. The end justifies the means and there is nothing they will not do to maintain power. Most republicans have too much conscience and moral compass and that is the main reason the left has the upper hand even when we have a conservative majority among citizens.
@curiosi The article refers to people voting over a 20 year period without proof of citizenship.

People without proof of citizenship are not necessarily illegal aliens.

I'm a citizen. I currently don't have proof of citizenship because my birth records are no longer accepted as proof of citizenship.

I'm sure that 58,000 includes illegal aliens. I'm sure it includes all sorts of shenanigans. But I'm definitely certain it includes people like myself.
windinhishair · 61-69, M
Your facts aren't quite right. Texas identified 95,000 voting registrations that they don't have proof of citizenship for. The voting jurisdictions were notified so they can check with the voters. Many of these may well have proof of citizenship, but it wasn't provided to the State.

Of those 95,000, about 58,000 have voted in various elections since 1996. You claim that they voted in the last election is not true. And no one knows at this point whether they were illegals or not.

They should be checked out and removed from the voter rolls if citizenship documentation is lacking.
tindrummer · M
@windinhishair thx, finally someone posted the facts instead of hubris
Budwick · 70-79, M
Doesn't surprise me a bit!
Maybe that it happened in Texas, but even the Lone Star State has been getting more progressive.
Peaches · F
Only in America I'm afraid.😔 How was it discovered I wonder? 🤔
windinhishair · 61-69, M
@Peaches A normal review of voter rolls showed 95,000 people didn't have evidence of citizenship. 58,000 of them had voted in one or more elections since 1996. The names were referred to the counties to contact the voters for evidence of citizenship. If they can provide it, they will remain on the voting rolls. If not, they will be removed. It is a routine process.

@4meAndyou Thank you for the link.🤗
Pfuzylogic · M
Check your facts.
Little donnie’s tweets don’t count.
Pfuzylogic · M
@4meAndyou
Then we agreed on something!
I don’t like the current political state.
A lot of things are going to come down on the Justice side of our government soon but this is my country.
4meAndyou · F
@Pfuzylogic I have people who want to do whatever to me because I went with the good feelings of the times and did not do my research at the time ( I was in the middle of a divorce and a double move), and voted for Obama. In retrospect, it was a mistake, but gosh, he was a smooth talker. He was Sooo good. You know, I still love the way he talks, but we can listen to him now on recordings and he was a liar...just like every other politician.
Pfuzylogic · M
@4meAndyou
We all have our opinions on politicians.
I think the comment that Romney made about looking down on over half of the voters hurt him, plus the fact he was going to gut Social Security for many about to retire. I have my own opinions on LGBTQ and right to life that might be considered different from the typical Democrat. However I do agree with the funding of most social programs and the curtailment of tax breaks for the rich which is essentially what trump did.
UserNameSW · 46-50, M
tindrummer · M
@4meAndyou that doesn't mean it isn't fake or distorted/filtered which is the case here - all those news sources mentioned above don't actually validate the meme - only possibly and speculatively

look at windinhishair's comment above
UserNameSW · 46-50, M
@4meAndyou quoting false and exaggerated figures do not make them real.
4meAndyou · F
@UserNameSW Denying the facts does not make them go away. They just come up behind you and bite you in the ass later...and you'll be shreiking..."OMG!!! OMG!!! HOW did that happen?? It's YOUR FAULT!"

https://www.texastribune.org/2019/01/25/texas-flags-tens-thousands-voters-citizenship-check/
plankter979 · 51-55, M
where are you getting this information? I'm in Texas which is run by the Republican hard right, you'd think they'd have made a big deal of this.
@plankter979 See the link to the Statesman on this thread. There's also a Texas Tribune article on this.

It does look like there was an effort to make a bigger deal out of what's basically an effort to purge voting rolls, but it's transparent enough that it probably wouldn't have made much of a stir if Trump hadnt picked it up on Fox and Friends and tweeted about it.
@plankter979 Also what is reported is 58K people without proof of citizenship voting in a 20y period.

That is not the same as 58K illegal aliens voting. Plenty of citizens have no proof of citizenship.

Wrong? Yes.
A problem? Yes.

Still different than 58K illegal aliens voting.
4meAndyou · F
@plankter979 I listened to a Town Hall last night held in Texas, and it was either the Governor of Texas or the news host who gave out that figure.
katielass · F
Yes and a lot more than that voted in calif. That's why the courts are forcing calif to purge their voter rolls. If you have a total of 1,000 people of all ages and 1,500 votes something is wrong. (Yes dumtards the figures I used are just an example.)
I think that's not what the Statesman piece actually said and that Texas is doing a rather loud and noisy job of cleaning up it's voter rolls.

It'll be interesting to see what Paxton says when he looks at the list, though.
The article doesn't quite say that.

It says 58,000 have voted in various elections since 1998 for which there is no proof of citizenship for those voters.

I would be one such voter. If I lived in Texas.

With the change of citizenship proof requirements I have no proof of citizenship. I am no different in that regard, even though my peeps came here in the 1880's. My birth certificate comes from a county in Upstate NY, and not a state registry. And that's not enough anymore.
And then there's this:

https://www.npr.org/2019/01/30/690023531/texas-officials-begin-walking-back-allegations-about-noncitizen-voters?utm_medium=RSS&utm_campaign=news
4meAndyou · F
@MistyCee We can check them out.
@4meAndyou if that's what floats your boat. I'll try and keep an eye out for this stuff, but I don't live in Texas anymore and my guess is that this story will continue to develop as they try to figure out what to do with the names on the list and how to purge the voter rolls.

Here's another one from a "left center" source:

https://www.texasmonthly.com/politics/texas-voter-registration-advisory/
@4meAndyou Here's another article about the walk back from a "left wing" source:

https://www.salon.com/2019/01/31/texas-officials-quietly-back-away-from-claims-of-widespread-voter-fraud-trump-wont-notice/
Seems light..

They bus them around from electorate to electorate..
4meAndyou · F
@TheOneyouwerewarnedabout I have NEVER heard that.
@4meAndyou There was a lady bragging about how many times she voted for Obama on national television! She wasn't illegal though. Obama openly encouraged illegals to vote. Why would he tell them to vote if none of them were voting? We all know damn good and well something so palpably evil cannot take over a country without cheating happening.
akindheart · 61-69, F
well you have your reason why they don't want the wall. they want the votes
ScabbyHeart · 46-50, M
First off probably BS fake news... come on its Texas! right to conceal carry, repub state for decades - by GOD - Texas.

if real, then shame on Texan election judges not to catch it... too late now.

Second: 58, 000 probably not enough to affect election results for state also election was won by electoral college anyway popular vote was nullified...

Third - How many resisted voters voted in Texas vs how many actually voted?
can't complain if you dont vote.. if all the registered voters actually voted 100% voting - the 58K illegal vote stats would not even matter... be washed out by true voters...

Shame on us all that dont vote... suck it! to any of you that did not vote and want to complain about it and you know who you are!!!
TeirdalinFirefall · 31-35, M
Sounds like a potentially flawed system.
4meAndyou · F
@TeirdalinFirefall Fatally flawed. But we can't get the democrats to behave as they did 6 years ago. OMG!!!! Everything we voted on before is SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO Bad Now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
TeirdalinFirefall · 31-35, M
@4meAndyou It's not really the democrats that are at fault I think, as much as the whole cult of outrage that's existing which has a huge victim mentality. And that the media is pushing a lot as it gets them tons of views.

Personally I don't know much about what's going on in Texas though.
4meAndyou · F
@TeirdalinFirefall You really should google that. I agree that it is the media that is pushing whatever they feel will get them views.
GJOFJ3 · 61-69, M
Not enough for Beto I guess
english · 56-60, M
so it ok for them to work minimum wage jobs ,but not to vote ? all the jobs Americans wont do, you have been brain washed for so long, you have no idea whats going on in your country. 😕
@english What part of ILLEGAL are you having a hard time understanding?
ScarletWitch · 26-30, F
Quizzical · 46-50, M
How? Isn't there an electoral register?
4meAndyou · F
@Quizzical We have all heard that (some) illegal immigrants have at least 9 illegal ID's. If even one of those has not been registered as dead, there you go.
@4meAndyou I've seen it with my own eyes. They give out fake social security cards like candy.

@SW-User Zero effs given about you, a wipe, however.....I believe thoroughly and completely in your right to have an opinion, and I would even fight for you AND for your ignorant opinion.

Funny, huh? I believe in the Constitution, and I will uphold your right to be whatever kind of a-hole you wish to be and your right to speak your mind. God bless you. (Waving the American flag over your head and hope the magic of that has some effect.)😂

Misleading, that number is speculative, not factual.
And Trump still won?
