How many swamp dwellers will Trump lay off?

Federal regulations say that employees of unfunded agencies should be "Furloughed" (told not to come to work) unless they are necessary. Several hundred thousand federal employees were furloughed when Congress failed to pass an acceptable spending bill last month.

Federal regulations say that the President (or his staff) should LAY OFF furloughed employees after 30 days without Congress funding their agency. There are thousands of swamp dwellers, including "Senior Executive Staff" who usually cannot be fired without long justifications. Unless they are convicted of felony crimes and are sent to prisons, they are almost completely immune to being fired. Thousands of useless liberal swamp dwellers need to go. This 30+ day furlough without Congressional funding is a once in a lifetime opportunity to get rid of thousands of swamp dwellers who would have no appeal or process. Just good bye, you're gone.

Federal regs say the President "may" (but isn't required to) extend their furloughs when Congress is sill working on funding.

How many federal employees should be laid off permanently? The ones who aren't "necessary"?

How many Federal agencies should be closed for lack of Congressional funding. DOE? BATF? Which ones?

Yeah, you obviously know so much about the government. (rolls eyes) Your information is wrong. A government shutdown does not function as a furlough. They cannot just get rid of everyone, although it makes sense that Trump supporters would be into that. Your information about being fired is wrong. True, the government can not just randomly fire people, which is a good thing. There is a process that has to be followed, and the employee can appeal a decision. That doesn't mean that they can't get rid of people who deserve to go. To begin with, he first year is a trial year. During that time they can get rid of you for anything they want. You also don't understand what the government deems "necessary". Please tell me what all of the people who are dealing with the government shutdown actually do. The government is barely limping by with half of them, and it is already starting to cause a LOT of problems. Federal employees did not take their jobs to make money. Most of them do it because they believe in what they are doing.

I'm still laughing about all the stories trying to get us to believe that they all had to go to food banks 2 days after missing a paycheck. I simply do not believe they didn't have stuff in the pantry.

He should start with his swamp-dwelling aides and cabinet members. And actually, he will, given enough time. The problem is he just appoints another swamp dweller to take their place.
The "JIG" is up - now they have to work for their money.

If thats possible im betting they all would be fine with about half the people.
