Buzzfeed report picked up by the rest of the media including CNN without any fact checking

is a terrific example of trial by slander. Fortunately Mueller slammed buzzfeed. Apparently at least he believes in due process. Look it up it’s in the CONSTITUTION

My guess is Trump is now throwing the breadcrumbs down seeing who will bite on the corrupt leaks. Rounding up the deep state actors/criminals within the government and the pravda leftist media can be a long and arduous process. But if it isn't done, we lose the country.
@jackjjackson The fascists are already going full bore on 'damage control' on this story. They are 'fake checking' it like crazy, and the best they can do is say that the problem is being exaggerated. (which is a lie) It has not been exaggerated in the least.
jackjjackson · 61-69, M
As long as its not buzzfeed lol. @puck61
@jackjjackson I love the leftist 'fake check' sites! You really can't blame the Silicone Valley Girls for being the way they are. It comes from years of conditioning and indoctrination. I doubt these guys ever bucked hay or chopped firewood, or went to church cause mamma said so!
There is no consequence for this. The leftist propagandists know that the mentality of their audience enables them to say anything they want to say and it becomes 'news'. The truth has never been a real big issue with leftists . Just put it out there and it has its desired effect.

Huh? What’s the game plan with this? @therighttothink50
@jackjjackson Well, it's at least further proof of the false narrative of the left, that 'they' are running the show, and they are the establishment and majority. One has only to surf the internet and local media to see, that the majority of Americans are as fed up with the lunatic left as reactionary hot heads like myself.

The corrupt Bob Mueller is just trying to cover his own butt.

Robert Mueller's sordid past and the corrupt/devilish people he has chosen to be part of his staff including the corrupt Andrew Wiseman and the Trump hating Peter Strozk are the arbiters of justice now? You can't make this stuff up, Robert Mueller a demon from hell choosing more biased demons to execute his witch hunt.

The same Robert Mueller who happily watched the damning Strozk/Page texts go "missing."

I suspect there is more truth to the story than "inaccuracies."

There are almost always "inaccuracies" in any detailed news story.

I would point out that the Office of the Special Counsel did not say the article was "untrue."

If I told you that the Cleveland Cavaliers defeated the Utah Jazz last night that would be untrue.

But if I told you that the Utah Jazz defeated the Cleveland Cavaliers last night and added that the score was 115-100, there would merely be inaccuracies in what I told you.

Toobin on CNN says this reenforces all the negative feelings towards the media. He is right.

There may be some truth in the story but they let their partisanship dictate that they publish without all of the facts and it bit them in the ass. How many times do they have to it before they learn?
jackjjackson · 61-69, M
You may not have been around then. Nixon resigned. No ouster no impeachment. If all of us try to keep it 100 we all will be the better for it 😀 @beckyromero

typical of the drive bys...When they have to stoop to such partisan bigotry, it lets you know Trump is doing great things. Like China for instance...about to buy $one trillion in American goods to offset the trade deficit and get Trump back to negotiating. No lib could have done that, they would have just taken the bribe.

HerKing · 61-69, M
I think it hilarious you're getting your panties in a wad over this. Mueller's PR guy didn't say the whole story was false. He said it had specific inaccuracies. And as I said yesterday, so did Bernstein and Woodward's many months of reporting on Watergate. But only a fool would say their story on the whole was false. They acknowledge today when asked if they regretted mistakes and without hesitation say yes, they were embarrassed about it, but that doesn't alter the bigger picture..

Speaking of which, ole Rudy (Worst lawyer in NY) said this morning that the Moscow deal was still in situ up to either october or november of 2016..That means if he's telling the truth (yeah, right?) all the crap about never having dealings with Russia is crap. And not declaring it pre election runs foul of the election regs.
eli1601 · 70-79, M
@HerKing 😂
jackjjackson · 61-69, M
Here you go. A timeline of actual sanctions and when they went into effect. As usual you’re wrong. No sanctions were in effect prior to the election or ever for that matter such as you claim.

[big]WRONG AGAIN AS USUAL[/big]

@HerKing
RodionRomanovitch · 56-60, M
@jackjjackson No he's right actually , and you've provided confirmation of it in your own link.

"The U.S. Treasury imposes sanctions on two major banks (Gazprombank and VEB)" - July 16 , 2014.

"The United States imposes sanctions aimed at sectors of the Russian economy, including armaments, energy, and finance. Those specifically targeted include VTB, Bank of Moscow, and the Russian Agricultural Bank. - July 29.

"Capital market restrictions imposed on six Russian banks: Sberbank, Bank of Moscow, Gazprombank, Russian Agricultural Bank, VTB, and Vneshekonombank." - Sept 12

Trump Tower Moscow was dependent upon funding from a sanctioned Russian bank who Kushner was discovered to have had secret meetings with ..... meetings which were only acknowledged once they had been revealed by the press. (Detect a pattern ?)

@jackjjackson
What I don’t understand is how anyone can claim to know what is going on with Mueller. It seems he believes in the antiquated notion of due process.
Mueller over-thinks.

He wants to have every "i" dotted and every "t" crossed before he makes a decision on whether to go to the bathroom or not.

Yes, he took over as director, FBI seven days before 9/11.

But he was given the intelligence - [big]and failed to act upon it[/big].

. . .

The mindset of the FBI since Hoover's days has always been to "investigate." Federal Bureau of Investigation.

As in: If a crime might later be committed, that's OK. Just have all the evidence to prosecute later.

. . .
If there was a golden opportunity to stop the attacks, Moussaoui was it. Prosecutors say he was following the same path as the other 19 hijackers. But there was a difference; Moussaoui couldn't keep his mouth shut. That got him in trouble in August when he was taking flight simulator training at a school in Minnesota. He was a strange student with strange questions. He was interested in flight patterns around New York City. He asked whether the doors of a 747 could be opened in flight. And there was more.

He paid for his flight lessons, nearly $7,000, in cash and he told his instructors that he urgently needed to learn how to fly big jets, even though at the time he didn't have so much as the license to fly a Cessna. Within two days some of the instructors were openly talking about whether Moussaoui might be a hijacking suspect, so they decided to call the FBI.

That was August 15th and the next day, FBI and immigration agents staked out Moussaoui's hotel. Sources familiar with the investigation tells us when Moussaoui stepped out, the agents asked him about his flight training and how he was paying for it.

Moussaoui told them that he always wanted to learn how to fly and he was a successful salesman. The FBI asked him what company he worked for and Moussaoui told the agents that he couldn't remember. It was all downhill from there. Moussaoui became belligerent - he told the agents that they wouldn't be harassing him if he wasn't an Arab. The agents asked to see his personal belongings and Moussaoui said no. The FBI didn't have any reason to arrest him at that point, but Moussaoui had overstayed the 90 days that he was supposed to be in the United States, so the immigration officer took him in.

They took him to the Sherburne County jail in Minnesota. The FBI was sure Moussaoui was up to something. They actually discussed whether he was plotting to crash a plane into a building in New York City. It was a hunch and a brilliant one. They wanted to search Moussaoui's laptop and belongings. But they couldn't without a warrant. So the agents asked FBI headquarters in Washington to try to get a special search warrant under a law called the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act — or FISA for short.

. . .

Three months after the attacks, FBI director Robert Mueller said this about the effort to get the search warrant. "All I can tell you is that the agents on the scene attempted to follow up aggressively. The attorneys back at FBI determined that there was insufficient probable cause for a FISA, which appears to be an accurate decision. And September 11th happened."

. . .

After September 11th the FBI got a search warrant that its field agents had wanted for three weeks, and they immediately found the evidence that led to key conspirators in the attacks. According to Moussaoui's indictment, the FBI found his notebook, listing a German phone number. That number traced back to Ramzi bin al Shibh. Bin al Shibh was the roommate of Mohammad Atta, the leader of the attacks. Bin al Shibh and Atta created a German Al Qaeda cell together. Bin al Shibh wired tens of thousands of dollars to Moussaoui and another hijacker, Marwan al-Shehhi, who flew into the World Trade Center's South tower.

So with the evidence then collected, Mueller and the FBI got its conviction.

After 2,996 innocent people were dead.
