No, it should remain like auto and home insurance. Your rates largely depend on the zip code where you live and drive.

@AMERICA1ST Not a thing. I think our health should be like our homeowners and auto insurance. Insurance is a shared risk. If people under 25 had to pay the real cost of insuring them, they'd not be driving. That cost is somewhat spread amongst the other drivers in their zip. Health ought to be the same. We could have actually had a system that worked for the uninsured but odumbo wanted it to fail so they could usher in single payer. Beware if that ever happens. You'll be having to beg for your healthcare. No, it won't be like medicare for all.

@AMERICA1ST As they should but my opposition to the health thing is that so many variables are immeasurable. I don't want to pay for your eating a piece of candy and maybe getting diabetes. Ok then, I don't want to pay for your coffee, too much caffeine is bad for you. It would be endless and it's not fair to select a few things out to beat people up over. Everyone does or eats something that's bad for them, I don't care how healthy they think they are and it doesn't always end up causing measurable harm. I'm against singling smokers or obese people out. Why don't we single out those people who sky dive. That's dangerous and could certainly be the cause of some pretty high medical bills. See? How would you make them pay? After they have an accident? Kick them while they're down?
