If the immigrants are legal EU nationals there is something called reciprocity between the countries that is supposed to take that into account the issue is when they are illegals or refugees that have either got in or beem allowed in as a quota it does not exist then we as a country have to find the cost. Don't get me wrong I don't want illegal immigrants anymore than you do, but there we as a country do ourselves no favours in fact we make it attractive to come here because they get nice handouts etc Kent has recently displayed that they are prepared to risk crossing the channel in very dodgy boats to get here because of the handouts
The refugee issue was also brought about to an extent by UK poking our noses into other peoples squabbles etc and on some cases spending huge amounts of money flattening their countries we as tax payers pay for it then get asked to pay again and again for it neither issue could be cured by not being in EU
This has also to an extent fuelled all the nuts that are on the watchlist as well because we have poked our noses into other peoples squabbles Like Skirpal what is he doing here he was part of American swap deal we were asking for trouble and we have been and are paying for it
