Some people realize it and are trying to work around it. The proper way to respond to a dangerous hyper-fool is to be gentle...and dismissive, until the fool learns he needs to "do" better. And until we can replace him with something more responsible. Many "lay" therapists exist in the population, I being one of them... But more are needed.
