When I was younger, I would have considered myself a liberal. Now I'm not sure what I am anymore. I certainly don't consider myself conservative. I've come to realize I really dislike extremism and hypocrisy, and there is no shortage of those in any political ideology.
Rutterman · 46-50, M
I'm probably closer to left-libertarian than any of the other categories.
IAmFlex · 26-30, M
Left-libertarian or, just simply, liberal.
Rokasu · 36-40, M
My views are: idgaf.
33person · 26-30, M
So hardcore moderate apathy.
katielass · F
Clearly there are many on here who are not self aware.
Memetic · 56-60, F
Why are they all libertarian or authoritarian?
33person · 26-30, M
Because I didn't feel like making nine choices.
First off Left libertarian is an oxymoron.
33person · 26-30, M
"Libertarianism," as in the Libertarian Party, is right-libertarian. The left-to-right line is an economic line; the libertarian-to-authoritarian line is social. So, for example, if you are pro-choice, against restrictions on gay marriage, etc., you are more libertarian on the social scale. Anarcho-communists are extremely far-left extreme libertarians. Stalin was an extremely far-left extreme authoritarian. Ayn Rand was a far-right libertarian. Hitler was a right-leaning extreme authoritarian.
MysterySci · 22-25, F
I am apathetic.
33person · 26-30, M
YOU? I'm disappointed in you.
MysterySci · 22-25, F
@33person: Sorry to do that. I love people though and care about them just not politics, its complicated. But I want to make you proud though.
33person · 26-30, M
Well, maybe you can be disappointed in politics, but idk about not caring about them. You should care about the decisions made, since they affect millions of people.
Cierzo · M
The farthest from left-libertarian
