does trump actually go looking for the worst possible choice for these jobs or does he have it contracted out?

@lorne13 It boggles the mind.

It's all good. He was probably a lobbyist for clean coal.
I don’t get his facination with “clean coal”. Theres so many sources of renewable energy that’s just in the back burner for no reason. It’s like trump is choosing a 2001 Nokia flip phone over an iphoneX

@Insomniac100 It's pretty simple really. The GOP has decided that environmentalism is a liberal trick and deliberately looks for the least green option it can find out of some warped "everything my opponent likes is evil" morality. I wish I was making that up. Anyway, the coal thing is just Trump playing to his base.

This was expected. Wheeler is Pruitt with better self-control.

"Regulatory capture is an economic theory that says regulatory agencies may come to be dominated by the industries or interests they are charged with regulating. The result is that the agency, which is charged with acting in the public's interest, instead acts in ways that benefit the industry it is supposed to be regulating."

Hopefully this one can be made to resign as well.
🙄 sounds very on par with the man he is.

Downright Kafkesque.

@QuixoticSoul Yeah, shoulda appointed michelle my belle.
QuixoticSoul · 41-45, M
@sunsporter1649 Or someone with a background in environmental policy that didn't spend decades shilling for gross polluters.
Graylight · 51-55, F
@sunsporter1649 Being deliberately obtuse doesn't help your argument.
