Ah, the moral clarity of spending all our taxpayer money buying illegal weapons for Muslim terrorists so they can wage genocide against their neighboring countries. What brave and upstanding defenders of ethnics our politicians are, such courage they demonstrate by sucking jihadist dick in exchange for oil and sitting idly by while they murder thousands of people.

Pompeo called his meeting with MBS, incredibly successful, and that as result of the meeting, they are going to investigate. That is, despite the fact, that the Saudis, had already announced that they will "investigate". I guess he learned from the boss, that all you need to do, is throw in a couple of words, like "incredible" and "successful", to get the Trumpsters cheering.

But, he also said:

Proving that his trip was worthless, and only a publicity stunt. This happened at a Saudi Consulate, they knows exactly what happened, and who did what. It's also been a week already. Why do they need the extra handful of days? It's not to allow the paint to dry, because they've already repainted the walls inside the consulate. It's also not to allow the smell of bleach to dissipate, because there was no way for them to hide the massive quantity of cleaning supplies, delivered to the Consulate a few days ago.

It's all about coordinating the spin, with our Western allies, to make sure there are no surprises, and only then, they will announce whom they decided to toss under the boss.

And by moral clarity we of course mean immoral clarity.

That almost has to be satire. Pompeo is more subversive than I expected.
