That's when they really start going nuts, because they'll probably get away with it.

It’s hardly dangerous. The opposition to the increasing insanity of the liberal/ democratic socialist party will increase with their outrageous acts . That’s to be expected.

@TexChik So if I wanted to know what you believe, I should just tell you what you believe, rather than ask you?

@TexChik ... okay? How was that pompous or arrogant?
If I wanna learn about guns, I ask you. You're the expert. I don't ask some liberal anti-gun nut because they don't know anything about guns.
And for the 50th time, I'm not a liberal ;)

Glad to see we agree on something. You need an exchange of power and push and pull of ideas.

@CountScrofula it's like my church's deacons until last few years they served for life once elected now they have to be relected every year and head deacon every year. With no guy holding head deacon 2 years in a row. Now we just need to do something about the seats that are practically family seats with just about every time a new deacon is elected it's usually the son or grandson of the man that held the seat before

@Mountainlady16 That's a good system.
One of the big things that makes a democracy a democracy is peaceful exchange of power. Can one person give up power without causing a political crisis or even a war. That's what keeps your freedoms free. Leaders are like diapers, they need to be changed often and for the same reason.

It's just the opposite here, local politicians are almost always Democrat. If you want to vote for locals in the primaries you vote Democrat and anyone running as a Republican doesn't have much of a chance.

Maybe but it's even worse if a dumtard wins.
CountScrofula · 41-45, M
@katielass So why not eliminate democracy entirely? Install a dictator for life, let him murder political opponents, live the good life.
