Heidi Heitkamp Voting "NO" on Kavanaugh

Heidi Heitkamp (D-ND) announced she's voting "no" on Kavanaugh.

She's likely to lose her seat anyway. No sense in soiling her name.

Besides, President Biden will likely give her a cabinet spot or other high profile post.

Secretary of the Interior? Attorney General? Head up the EPA?

Good for her! I lived in North Dakota for 19 years, from 1998 to 2017. I voted for Heidi for U.S. Senator. She was Attorney General of North Dakota from 1992 to 2000. Trump considered her for Secretary of Agriculture, I believe, partially to get her out of the Senate. Her opponent in the current Senate race, Congressman Kevin Cramer, is a Republican stooge.
