Tribalism is only natural. Politics are not however. Politics seems to be the real problem.

@MethDozer How so? You are not anti-political so is it about the current way of doing politics?
MethDozer · M
@Burnley123 Yes, the current "civilization" and nation model is the problem.

The whole political party and politics as an identity is just awful and a proven failure throughout it's attempts in history. We treat it as a hobby, as an identity , as a team and that is disgusting and toxic. Politics has never solved anything and only.brought on more problems.

@MethDozer I think politics is utterly necessary. It's about power and how it works in society. For ordinary people to opt out of politics would be to allow tyranny. I agree its messy and complex but I don't think there is an easy short-cut.

@Burnley123 I know tour position and it is an argument. I still see it as the opposite. I find politics to a tool of tyranny mostly and a way to hold central power and keep the people's tribes under control. The first thing an empire does is destroy and conquer the tribes of a land.

@MethDozer Rulers have always used divide and rule. Should we all unite against the rulers?

@Burnley123 The central government is what we should fight I think. I fully support a bottom up system where power is decreased at each higher level of government. Local should have the most authority and national the least IMHO.
I don't mind certain levels of inequality of outcomes and feel.it is healthy and necessary for development of the group. It is when the system becomes rugged with unfair legalities given to one and against the other it becomes an issue. Which is what political parties are really all about.
