I wonder who the British Prime Minister will be when Trump arrives in London?

I was worried when this happened because I thought May would be gone. Now it seems she's ridden out the storm. I don't like her but she is saner than Boris.

Basically, it transpires that Boris is so much of a Machiavellian shyster that very few Conservative MPs actually like him anymore. Few Tories like May but she seems to be the person that they can all agree to dislike the least.

Even the pro-Brexit ultras are divided on Boris because they (correctly) see him as someone motivated by personal ambition rather than ideology or party loyalty. After the disaster of the job he did as foreign secretary, even they seem have woken up to the fact that putting him in charge of Brexit negotiations would be a really really dumb idea. Its possible that the rebels could force a leadership contest but May's camp sound confident about resisting it. For now.
