Tommy Robinson jailed for 13 months after admitting contempt of court.

His supporters already know he broke the law; they just don't care because they support his racist agenda.

On my post, they refused to accept that that he broke a univerally applied law about reporting outside because they have all decided that its a cultural marxist conspiracy. It doesn't matter what facts you throw at them because its all fake news. Its how totalitarian ideologies develop.

The right wing / libertarian crowd is going to jump on this, without bothering to do any fact checking.

The guy, known as Tommy Robinson -- he used to be Stephen Chritopher Yaxley-Lennon, Andrew McMaster and Paul Harris, has not been jailed for this single violation of the law.

He has done it on multiple occasions. The law in the UK is different form the US, and certain things are not allowed, if they threaten to prejudice the outcome of a trial.

He's a multiple repeat offender and is not a newbie to jail. He served one year out of a longer sentence, for drunken assault on an off duty police officer.

He is a school dropout, who went back to vocational school and is blaming his failed miserable life on immigrants, as opposed to the way he chose to live his life.

He's the face of British extremism.

I am all for free speech, but the law in this case, applies to everyone and this is hardly about free speech.

I suspect it's a message for anyone else considering doing similar.
But if you read the wikipedia page about this guy......can hardly call him any sort of political prisoner.

I am not a fan of British because of the horrors they inflicted on my ancestors but I support Tommy Robinson because he is warning the world about a greater threat.
