Are they really planning to tear off people's heads in Ohio?

According to a news clip I saw on YouTube, Ohio is planning on executing their condemned criminals by using a machine to tear off their heads. Seemed incredible. Does anyone know if this is for real?

Please, please, please show your post to a trusted child/grandchild of yours or other close relative. Ask them what they think.

@beckyromero I don't have grandkids, I'm sorry to say. But I will mention it in discussions with younger people and see what they will say. Do you think young people are likely to react in a specific way?
@greenmountaingal No doubt!! I’m with you. I would never subject a child to this.

I think this may be her way of saying that my post/question was sick or crazy and indicates a serious mental problem which may require hospitalization. Otherwise, I don't know why she would want me to discuss it with a younger relative.

I doubt it. A firing squad where they are shot in the heart is quick and painless as well and an excellent alternative to the shrinking legal meds.

This Is the same state where six months ago they were considering putting a bag over the condemned mans head and filling it with gas !

@DeWayfarer It may be unusual, but according to various experts, it would be quick and painless which is not currently true of the lethal injection method.

@greenmountaingal Read it. UNUSUAL is protected.

One word. Ridiculous!

@Coyotedave611 The news reporter said they were doing it because it is a very quick and painless death. According to this report, other states were also considering it as an alternative to lethal injection.

Yes it's true
greenmountaingal · 70-79, F
@Barebum61 Do you live in Ohio? Where did you find out about this?
