Do you believe award shows should be political?

Should it simply be a feel good evening or a platform for speaking out on issues?

I don't believe in award shows at all..it only serves to inflate an already overinflated ego.

Yes. Always. Entertainers are super brainy and can solve all the world's problems if only we would listen to them.

@Thatsright OMG....that's funny.

No

Maybe I’d watch them if everyone didn’t give their political agenda. Feeling so self important. Like they’re gonna change my mind.

Politics is Hollywood for ugly people, so why not mix the two.
no show should be political. that goes even the news

I don't think we should have awards shows unless we're awarding the cop who made the most difference in his community or something like that. Awarding adults for playing make believe seems so idiotic.
It doesn’t really matter to me. It’s their own show that they are broadcasting. As far as I’m concerned, they can talk about whatever the hell they want.

i don't watch award shows, but it's an industry that awards itself, so i guess they can talk about whatever they want once they make it to the mic.
