Why do American love hideousness?

Americans deliberately create sterile, homogeneous, toxic, hideous, dysfunctional environments because they love ugliness, death, garbage, and pollution. Maybe it is a scheme to increase mail order business because going out is such a turn-off due to the buildings and the transit corridors and he fugly semi-moronic people being so intensely repulsive/repellant.
