What makes a country? Is it the physical boundary or the people and life of those people within that boundary?

Would you be patriotic if your country was full of bull shit people?

Mankind has been fighting over lines in the sand as along as we've existed as a species. While we're busy fighting about what soil can be crossed, we too often forget that a nation is a people, a culture, a collective ideology and government. If we don't work together and treat our nations like a family home, we'll end up spending all our time stringing barbed wire and daring others to cross it.

My country has enough bull shit people, not the majority, but enough. That does not make me any less of a patriot.

Today, a country is what the UN says it is.

Territory, People, and Government, if I remember it correctly. To answer your question, all of the above.
