My mom lives in Heaven. So I put her name on a helium balloon and let it fly away.

Still with my parents 18 about to graduate. I wished her happy mother's day this morning as soon as I woke up. It may not be anything special but I could see by her reaction she was super happy.

@ELGONZO To her I’m sure it means the world.

I called her, but she didn't pick up. So I left her a message and sent her one on Facebook (she lives on the other side of the country).

@CountScrofula It is, it's a lot of little things too, like having my aunt take care of my dog while I'm away, and just even getting a ride to the airport (I hate asking and feel like a burden)... etc. The list is endless!

Anyway, sorry. XD I should probably stop derailing this topic. :)

@caccoon I brought it up, you're not derailing it! I am ;) And your dad is sick, having your aunt take care of Lucy won't be the end of the world. I have three goddamn dogs. I gave up feeling guilty about forcing them on friends when I'm out of town lol. I just promise to take care of their pets when they're gone.
@caccoon i called mine as well. no reply- but also no answering machine as she is 89 and feel she does not need one.

She has a family that adapted her now so to speak. They took her out to eat with them- they did the same on Christmas day.

She has made her choice of who she wants to be with and so be it.

Had lunch with Mom and other family members. Very nice time. I’m grateful to still have her.
She passed away 8 years ago. I've thought about her all day. Her memory is always with me.

Better than that, I traveled thousands of miles to be with her. Time with family is priceless!! My daughter is coming diwn too!!!

to show kindness or some kind of care on a specific day? that would be totally diplomatically hypocritical
Scubaguy027 · 46-50, M
Nope. We had a cookout today with my siblings and all her grandkids
