Woman for President?

People of SW, what are your thoughts on a female president? Who would be your candidate?
Im not going to vote for a female simply because she is a female such as hillary and michelle and others have insinuated is a good idea. Let me just say that. Im sure in my lifetime i will see one though. If not myn my childs. And thats ok, when it happens it happens and dear God let her not be a libtard.
Adam1985 · 36-40, M
@lulaluboo Oh thank God, a woman with common sense! U should run for President!😁
jackjjackson · 61-69, M
Madeline Albright was the biggest offender in attacking women for not voting for Mrs Clinton simply because she is a woman. Albright was not favorably received. @lulaluboo
Rokasu · 36-40, M
Sure. Candidate would be my mom. She's such a nice lady.
Adam1985 · 36-40, M
@Rokasu Are u bragging on ur mom cuz mother's day is tomorrow?
Rokasu · 36-40, M
@Adam1985 I'm bragging on her because she's awesome 😊
Graylight · 51-55, F
@Rokasu She's got my vote. I'm at the point I'll take nice over experienced any day of the week.
SW-User
I just need a good president. I don’t care if it’s a he or a she
Adam1985 · 36-40, M
@SW-User I'm not biased either, but I wouldn't know who to choose as candidate.
FreeSpirit1 · 51-55, F
Condi Rice should give it a go but I think she is too smart to put herself through the crap it takes to be President.
Adam1985 · 36-40, M
@FreeSpirit1 Ur probably right.
Sure, why not?

I can't think of anyone I would want to be in that position of power, regardless of gender.
Adam1985 · 36-40, M
@AmbivalentFriability So we should do away with the presidency all together?
@Adam1985 No, every country needs a leader. Just no one that seems suitable comes to mind currently.
I would vote for a woman if she was qualified. But the ones I like don't want the job. So there you go.
Adam1985 · 36-40, M
@GingerPeach Being president isn't an easy/fun job.
GunSmoke9 · 56-60, M
I don't vote for someone based on gender or race. Voting for a woman only because she is one is plain stupid. If I had to pick one, I pick Hillary. Please Hillary run again.
Abrienda · 26-30, F
@GunSmoke9 Pre-order your copy of "What Happened, Two" NOW before the're sold out!
Adam1985 · 36-40, M
@GunSmoke9 I wouldn't vote for a person simply based on gender, I would vote for a candidate with good character that has a positive influence.
beckyromero · 36-40, F
Hillary almost certainly won't run again.

Lizzy Warren or Kamala Harris? Couldn't vote for either one of them. Warren's as socialist as Bernie Sanders and Harris thinks it's OK to jail poor parents of truant kids.

I still haven't forgiven Claire McKaskill for 2008.

I could vote for Kirsten Gillibrand.

And I'd keep an open mind about Nikki Haley (hey, who knows, Trump might not run in 2020).

But right now my first choice wouldn't be a woman; it would be Joe Biden.
Adam1985 · 36-40, M
@beckyromero Interesting
They will not let a woman govern ... they won't let a populace president govern ... they will make it so miserable for the lady, she won't be able to be herself.

There are a lot of good ladies, who would make a good leader ... but, no woman, in her right mind, would want any part of the job.

If she did want the job ... we would have to question her rationality.

I would have voted for Sarah Palin over McCain
Adam1985 · 36-40, M
@questionWeaver As long as it ain't a woman like Hillary!😂
SW-User
Sure. No reason why it can't happen.

As far as a candidate, preferrably someone who isn't a legacy-type, level-headed and intelligent in many respects, but isn't tied to the hip with religion.
Adam1985 · 36-40, M
@SW-User I agree. I would vote for a woman with good influence and a respectable role model. Not someone with a big ego on a power trip (Hilary).
SW-User
@Adam1985 Yeah, I didn't agree with her as candidate.
Sure why not. I just want a normal fucking human being in office with a normal administration. I don’t really care which party either as long as theyre open minded moderates....something that doesn’t exist anymore.
Adam1985 · 36-40, M
@Insomniac100 Exactly, both the democrat and republican parties fight like spoiled brats fighting over a toy, it's pathetic.
SageWanderer · 70-79, M
I want a female president going through menopause. The world would be on edge monthly and it could be the greatest state secret. Who would want to mess with a woman who has hot flashes?
Adam1985 · 36-40, M
Graylight · 51-55, F
Great, but I want Ellen Ripley for president.
Graylight · 51-55, F

Adam1985 · 36-40, M
That's a fictional character U know?...
Graylight · 51-55, F
@Adam1985 More real, imho, than anyone in that White House right now. Certainly as qualified.
JimminyChristmas · 56-60, M
Ann Coulter!! I would cheer in the streets if she ran!!
Adam1985 · 36-40, M
@JimminyChristmas I heard of her, but I'm not familiar w/her.
jackjjackson · 61-69, M
I’m a moderate Republican and she would not be in my top twenty male or female candidates. @JimminyChristmas
SW-User
I don’t know who I would choose. But I don’t care if she became president.
Adam1985 · 36-40, M
@SW-User I don't have any good choices either.
tallpowerhouseblonde · 31-35, F
Paris Hilton!
Thought I would be the first to post a ridiculous suggestion.
Adam1985 · 36-40, M
@tallpowerhouseblonde That's about as bad asking Carrot Top 2 run for prez.😂
yeah def. just dont know who would be a good candidate
Adam1985 · 36-40, M
@badapple Me either, lotta fish N the ocean, but none worth keeping.
jackjjackson · 61-69, M
Gilbride, Haley, Oprah, Martinez, Fallin
Adam1985 · 36-40, M
@jackjjackson The only person on ur list I recognize is Oprah, and she already declined to run for President.
jackjjackson · 61-69, M
The others are present or former senators, governors, etc. google em. @Adam1985
Caitlyn Jenner.
Adam1985 · 36-40, M
@BrewCityBarfly Wow, that's really thinking outside the box.
jackjjackson · 61-69, M
Was that an intentional double entendre sort of thing? @Adam1985
I would’ve been fine with Hillary. But the fact that some people thought an openly racist, sexist man was a better bet than a mostly libeled woman makes it clear we’re not there yet.
Adam1985 · 36-40, M
@bijouxbroussard Don't worry, I didn't vote 4 Trump.😁 I didn't like the guy even BEFORE he was president.
@Adam1985 Same here. He’s been in the public eye for the last 40+ years and his life was pretty much an open book. Surprising how much people don’t know, or have forgotten. He was always a joke.
Adam1985 · 36-40, M
Yes, he's always lived a life of luxury, using his money to get his way. Plus he's egotistical and only cares about himself.
