You label those who voice their opinions as crybabies and losers? That says a lot about you sir.

What army you belong to anyway? I’m pretty sure it’s not a US military uniform you’re wearing.
SimplyTracie · 26-30, F
@TexChik I pay no attention to Hillary. She a complete nut 🥜. I don’t give Obama any of my time either.

Of all the political posts on here, I haven’t seen a single one complaining about losing the election.

Most people have moved on. Unlike Trump and the snowflakes. They’re still bitching about Obama and Clinton.
OMG they should move on. 🙄
TexChik · F
@SimplyTracie obviously you don’t pay attention , oh yee of select memory. Pffft
SimplyTracie · 26-30, F
@TexChik Stop being silly. People should really move on. Neither Obama nor Clinton is our President.

If there was crimes committed, FBI Director Wray (trusted Trump nominee), needs do whatever needs to be done.
I’m all in favor of locking up any and all criminals. I don’t care if they’re left or right. Lock um all up!

It is important to respect and support the office no matter who is the president. That is true when trump is in the office, as well as when Obama, Bush, Clinton, Reagan, or anyone else was. However, support and respect for the person in office is a completely different matter. The current occupant doesn't respect the office himself, and he does not deserve the respect or support of many Americans. It has nothing to do with the election--it has everything to do with how he's conducted himself in office.

Let me ask you this? Angela Merkel is the current Chancellor of Germany. Do you support her and the office of Chancellor? Does that mean that if you do not support Chancellor Hitler that you are a crybaby?

The bottom line is that you can have respect for and support the office without respecting or supporting the office-holder.

How can you show respect to someone who doles out disrespect 24/7. I tend to believe it’s hypocrisy.

You may disagree with Obama or Bush or Reagan on policy, or execution, but never on respect.

With their personal conduct, I would not know how to show respect to someone like Trump or Clinton
jackjjackson · 61-69, M
A sensible line of reasoning. I’m disappointed in the President’s behavior that’s for sure. I should have known better based on his history. On the other hand there are some high powered people like General Mattis and Secretary Pompeo who I respect that are sticking with him so there must be something .... @Northwest
Northwest · M
@jackjjackson I think Mattis is not going to last past November. I respect him. He considers this as part of his national service, and not a reflection of his politics or anything else.
jackjjackson · 61-69, M
Gotta respect someone committed to national service. @Northwest

Yes, let's all be lemmings and blindly respect and support whomever is in office. Because to actually observe our democratic freedoms, key of which is the opportunity and ability to openly criticize those in office, just makes us cry-baby losers.

And let's not forget...............

@jackjjackson Yes, the Prince of Wales. Let's all support and respect the office, and the incumbents, of the British Monarchy.

Is it crybaby to want an embezzler discovered? Or a burglar caught? Or an unqualified physician sanctioned?

Wanting to change the country for the better and trying to rid it of what is believed to be an adversarial force in that battle is not cry baby.
jackjjackson · 61-69, M
The President is in the process of fulfilling his promise of improving the country. Your definition of improvement differs from that of others. @Graylight
Graylight · 51-55, F
@jackjjackson Not the majority.
jackjjackson · 61-69, M
More than you give him credit for lol. @Graylight

How can you both respect the dignity of the office and the actions of the current President ? They're incompatable things.
Here in France, in England and in America, it is not our 'leaders' which shall destroy our respective countries, it is the people themselves. France does not have the president which reflected my vote but this will never encourage me to forsake those citizens whose votes he did reflect. If we are to grow as nations and continue to grow then we must be united in our citizenry - we, after all, are 'the country'.
ScabbyHeart · 46-50, M
Guess you would have supported Hitler and his office too... thats the problem
respecting the "office" is not good enough
not Obama nor Trump fan
ScabbyHeart · 46-50, M
@jackjjackson or if we get invaded by aliens we might unite but it would be too late probably....
jackjjackson · 61-69, M
Real life may not be like the movie Indeoendence Day. @ScabbyHeart

That's a bit like asking why there were so many cry-baby losers when Hitler was in power. Perhaps they just have an intense like of what these people stand for.
Nyloncapes · 61-69, M
I know what you mean we got them here, in UK like spoilt brats who never got there own way, and trying to ruin Brexit, and democracy
royalblue1193 · 31-35, M
For 8 years democrats had all the power now they don't now they don't know what to do
Graylight · 51-55, F
@royalblue1193 Here's a hint; it's not about who wins a game.
katielass · F
It's the totalitarian mindset.
