Orange County Was Set to House the Homeless, and There Was a Popular Revolt

I always thought it was pretty obvious that we are going to have a growing homeless population even when i was a kid. My idea is to give big tax breaks to people who adopt homeless families. And they need to build homeless centers to actually house them and get them back into society. They could always buy empty hotels. This is what i wanted to do if i ever won the lottery. What is your great idea for helping the homeless?

There is a lot of empty hotels around in the OC. Have they thought of stuffing them up near Disneyland.

@bhatjc Oy. I would strongly recommend you get your elected County officials to take a good, close look at the area around Disney World in Florida. Because right outside it's property lines is a tourist ghetto largely populated with homeless, families down-on-their-luck, hotels now used as halfway houses and any number of bargain-basement retail shops. And it's only getting worse.

@Graylight Don't live in that OC. Yeah that is true. I have heard it is getting worse.
@Graylight THAT IS SO WEIRD.
DISNEY WORLD IS SURROUNDED BY HOMELESS. that is up there with Hollywood being filled with homeless. i could cry...

@LILY61 If you really want to cry, check out the movie The Florida Project. Not a great film, but it'll show you with 100% accuracy the area right around Disney.
