What do you think about Trump's meeting the North Koreans,
One [leader] is an [spoiled, over-weight] egomaniacally unhinged, nuclear-armed neophyte, who scares his allies and enemies alike.
The other is a fat Korean kid.

Can Trump make it the entire meeting without blurting out classified information to impress Kim?

Stay tuned, sports fans ....

Well...it's public knowledge that donnie boy will give anything to anyone if they praise him and smother him with verbal vestiges of "you're so handsome "oh, you've got such big fingers" "I love your hair" I'm sure the Koreans know this and they will for sure be flattering donnie and THEY will walk away the winner, because once donnie boy has those ego strokes, he will give him anything he wants!

@WalksWith Fascinating perspective. And probably correct. 🙄

You notice what Kim Jong-Un has done--without firing a shot, he has shown his people that he is equivalent to the leader of the US and a major world leader. It would be wonderful if something positive comes out of this meeting, but it is more likely that trump will continue to be played like a fiddle.

@DonaldTrumpet Read it and Tweet!

@DonaldTrumpet Love the photo, by the way. Is that you running into the High School to take on the shooter and take him down?

I'm actually doubting that this meeting will happen, but if it does, I don't expect the President declassifying information is going to be a big deal, really.

I actually think, at the last minute, Trump is going to waiver and impose additional prerequisites which Kim Jong Un won't accept. Trump needs the meeting because he feels like he needs a "win" right now, while Kim is slobbering at the mouth for an opportunity to be seen as Trump's equal.

It should be interesting, but I doubt its going to end up being a huge deal. I'd be happy to be pleasantly suprised.

Do people really expect the great dealmaker (who walked away , let's remember , from a deal for his beloved wall ) to be able to pull off a deal whereby North Korea renounces nuclear weapons ?

As others have already stated , he's being taken for a ride by a regime well schooled in deception. Were anything meaningful to come out of this then I would be amazed. More likely he will be back to hurling insults once his demands are laughed out.

Hey, if you can't trust a guy who had his own half brother killed in public who CAN you trust? People keep claiming Trump has a sense of humor. If he really did, he would show up to these talks in a hazmat suit.
GunSmoke9 · 56-60, M
So what's wrong with scaring our enemies? Or should Trump do what other presidents have done, giving tons of money to false promises from North Korea?
WoodyAq · M
@GunSmoke9 What's he going to give them?
GunSmoke9 · 56-60, M
@WoodyAq Hopefully nothing. Why do you think North Korea is now open to talks? Fear can be a good thing.
WoodyAq · M
@GunSmoke9 I just don't think so ... the North Koreans are as cagey as they come. It'll all depends on who the better negotiator is ...

Ah crap. We're screwed ...
Graylight · 51-55, F
Honeslty, I hope for the best, but I don't know how either one of them is going to go 20 seconds before insults start.
GunSmoke9 · 56-60, M
@xSharp He also spent twenty years listening to Rev. Wright. His anti- white, anti- Israel pastor. If not for FOX no one would of heard of Rev Wright.
Xuan12 · 31-35, M
I think it would be a bad idea for any president to meet directly with the leader of North Korea.
