Do people honestly believe that taking Americans' guns is as simple as passing a law?

@beckys501s Russia was implicit in Trump's victory. But the RFA were more crucial in funding his victory.
Surely the recent gun massacres should change minds towards 'Gun Laws'.
Look up the word "Amendment" as in "2nd Amendment".
The definition means to 'amend' a law (presumably to make it better?).
So why should it not be amended again to exclude 'over the counter sales' of lethal weapons?
US has five times the population of the UK...and 25 times the number of fatal shootings. Why???🤔

@charley6000 the Bill of Rights, as you reference, can be indeed amended. But not gonna happen though.
