Do you find any of the users who mention "liberals" in every post they make to be particularly intelligent or compelling?

Or "conservatives" or "Trump" or whatever political bugbear it may be.

I don't. One-dimensionality rarely appeals to me in a person.
SimplyTracie · 26-30, F
I enjoy discussing issues. A few Trump supporters just refuse to debate specific issues; they just rather resort to name calling. You know, like call me an idiot or uneducated. Freakin people are hilarious. 😂😂😂
SimplyTracie · 26-30, F
@SW-User Then lets not debate. Just have a simple conversation. It doesn’t even have to be riddled with facts. Just explain their position; why they feel the way they do.
GunSmoke9 · 56-60, M
@SimplyTracie I get the same from the Trump haters.
SimplyTracie · 26-30, F
@GunSmoke9 I don’t like Trump. That’s a fact. But I’m willing to discuss with Lovers of Trump what is it that’s so appealing. And I honestly want to hear their side. But it usually doesn’t end well because they just end up calling me an idiot.
hippyjoe1955 · 61-69, M
I agree. Liberals are idiots.
jackjjackson · 61-69, M
No need to start with the name calling. I didn’t and never have written anything remotely derogatory relating to you sir. @hippyjoe1955
Carver · 31-35, F
@jackjjackson Its just that what I've seen from you has been just as hopelessly foolish as hippyjoe1955, that I would never have expected to hear this bit of rationality from you. Have you been a troll this whole time then? Because that would actually make sense...
jackjjackson · 61-69, M
I think you’re either confusing me with someone else or haven’t read my words carefully, overall I’m a little right of center however I view every issue separately. I admit to calling out nattering nellies who constantly criticize and never offer positive alternatives. @Carver

smart people avoid politics
SW-User
@SW-User That may explain why most politicians are morons.

Even if an intellectual did run for office, they'd have little to no appeal.
CountScrofula · 41-45, M
@SW-User Everything is political. Avoiding federal politics has its advantages though, lol.
Nope, but in small doses, it's occasionally amusing.

I think we have a real overdose problem here though.
SW-User
@MistyCee Most of those people I have blocked so I'm probably missing some of it. But every now and then I see it and can't fathom how people can be so incredibly myopic. As if the world doesn't extend further than their own bias.
@SW-User I know what you mean. At the same time, some of it can almost reach the level of self satire. We have weirdos here on both sides, and quite a few in the middle, too.
LyricalOne · F
Name calling from either side turns anything they say afterward into this:

@SimplyTracie Lol... oh no, you come in clear as a bell. 😉
SimplyTracie · 26-30, F
@LyricalOne Thank you. 😊
sighmeupforthat · 46-50, M
@LyricalOne 😆😗 oooowww!
akindheart · 61-69, F
I have to laugh. did you know your name was what Weiner used as his online porn name? ha ha
WeighedDown · 36-40, M
I harass both sides like the Russians do.
Well. As somebody who is neither a "liberal" or "conservative" and who feels there is no real difference between them anymore-- it seems utterly pointless. Just 2X the enmity in every conversation.
SW-User
@CopperCicada The political spectrum is really more of a horseshoe than a straight line. The more extreme either side gets, the more alike they become.
@SW-User Well. The political spectrum also need not be defined by "left" and "right". There are other more appropriate options for the 21st century.

Now it's just globalism.
CountScrofula · 41-45, M
Right. Mindlessly cheering for your team is the lowest form of political engagement. It's a useless waste of itme.
Spokeskitties75 · 46-50, M
I didn’t vote for any of those no-talent ass clowns... don’t like the menu... don’t eat at the restaurant
cherokeepatti · 61-69, F
Carlos Danger, what a moniker.
SW-User
@cherokeepatti I co-opted it from Anthony Weiner :P
cherokeepatti · 61-69, F
@SW-User not a good role model though
Carver · 31-35, F
Nope. That's often a major indicator of their stupidity.
ZenKitzune · F
It's tiresome and adds to the problem usually.
sighmeupforthat · 46-50, M
no, obsessed and priorities are askew.
SW-User
I find them to be slightly agitating.
Trevo · 26-30, M
No. I do not
