Can you be neither pro- nor anti-PC (political correctness)?

I feel like that's what I am.
Like, I want no words to be considered absolute taboos and don't want people to feel bad or be silenced for saying words like the n-word (not typing it out because I don't want to be banned from this site or anything) or "fag", just to name two examples, without any context.
However I am a strong believer in basic mutual respect among people so I do believe that you simply shouldn't say certain things to people, simply because it would be highly disrespectful, just like regular insults like "a$$hole", "dumba$$" (again censoring those just to be safe) or whatever.
I guess it's pretty obvious that to achieve basic mutual respect you shouldn't say anything insulting in the first place, but again, even if an insulting/offensive term is used I don't think someone should be silenced for doing so, but just be aware of possible consequences.

Anti-PC...and I don't give a shit

Like you, I am a centrist and an ordinary American. I am both pro and anti PC.

When someone uses free-speech that I agree with, I like it. When I don't like it, they should make it illegal.

I know my President thinks like I do.

Depends who you talk to: the alt-right considers insults to be "PC."
