What is your favourite national anthem?

Apart from your country's, obviously. Saying you don't like yours would make you a traitor or something like that.

The french Marseillaise is the most powerful, but the Russian one has also something powerful.

@SW-User Marseillaise is indeed powerful and patriotic. İt's my second favourite tbh.

I'm not into national anthems really, I only know Greece's (and Cyprus' since it's the same 😆)
covfefe234 · 31-35, M
@HannibalAteMeOut haha I'm into them :D But I'm sure you've heard some most popular ones like America or Russia etc?
HannibalAteMeOut · 22-25, F
@covfefe234 I'm sure I've heard them somewhere but you know I don't remember them 😆
covfefe234 · 31-35, M
@HannibalAteMeOut yep I can understand that :D

A traitor? dont be ridiculous

& my country's anthem is a fucking dirge, it's dreadful. The Mareillaise is, I think, the only anthem that I'd call a really good piece of music.

The old Soviet anthem was pretty epic.

@SW-User Exactly! I love it, by its music, lyrics too!

To help you with the answers here's mine: The anthem of USSR. You can say any country from the past as well.

The Canadian anthem. I've heard it so often because I'm a hockey fan
covfefe234 · 31-35, M
@FreeSpirit1 they're really good at hockey aren't they?

The song “Lift Every Voice” is my favorite and I don’t think not being impressed with the Star Spangled Banner makes me a “traitor”.

@bijouxbroussard Which country's anthem is this? And that traitor definition had some sarcasm in it.
@covfefe234 It was written by James Weldon Johnson in 1900 and used to be known as "The Negro National Anthem" in the U.S.
