Even though I wasn't around to see him, Abe is one of my heroes. I really admire his overall open mindedness and willingness to try new ideas. I also respect how much of a workhorse he was and his constant desire to learn and better himself.
Reagan was my favorite in 'my' lifetime. Trump is good, but doesn't have the gift of gab that Reagan had. Reagan was a 'great communicator'. Trump is a bit 'oafish'. I like that he is blunt and forthright, but he lacks judgement about what he says sometimes.
JFK and the two Roosevelts are among my favorites. James Garfield had a lot of potential, but he was assassinated before he could accomplish very much.
@Rutterman I read a lot about Teedie Roosevelt and I like the position he had on the environment. Also that he won the Nobel Peace Prize for his part in the Russo-Japanese War.
