Did this Sheriff act legally? Or did he infringed on the rights of the citizen?

I don't think he did anything actionable. He can't really say heis privacy as invaded since he was driving on a public street

I think you would have a hard time making the disorderly conduct charge stick since you hear the world in common usage.

And the guy didn't advocate violence.

I read somewhere a few years ago that "fuck" is used so much now it is no longer considered obscene since the sexual context is a small part of its meaning. So it should be legal to say "Fuck Trump". But Texas is its own little nazi world....

i agree. it's free speech. the sheriff made it sound like he was trying to stop someone taking action but even if someone did they would be the one's breaking the law.

The sheriff's is a nazi and so is the president.
