Why is the left wing anti working class?

therighttothink50 · 56-60, M
Because they are illogic driven believing that left wing technocrats can solve their problems, that government is the answer along with its endless spending, over taxation and regulations. Debt enslaves human beings, money spent by the government irresponsibly and used to fund a leftist ideology which is based on symbolism and is never held accountable destroys civilizations.

I can think of no other abuse of power more than useless EPA regulations created out of thin air by the rogue president Obama. These regulations virtually destroyed the American economy and stagnated it almost beyond repair. The regulations had nothing do with helping the environment but only hurting the average worker and family. Here the EPA chief admits the regulations were purely symbolic. Good God what a destructive force these useless regulations are/were, thank God Trump has overturned most of these treasonous regulations.

I could talk for years about how anti-working class the right is. everyone can be accused of that.
CountScrofula · 41-45, M
@Firespirit Yeah, I think an intrinsic problem in American politics is the two-party system. You're either liberal or conservative and that was always a fake split.

And extremism is relative - when the status quo becomes untenable, then every political position becomes a little crazy. Of cours eI'm an anarchist so who am I to talk? lol
Firespirit · 26-30, M
@CountScrofula Yeah the two party system is rather fucked I do like the electoral collage the usa has tho as it allows the small guy to have a vote and not be out voiced by the citys
CountScrofula · 41-45, M
@Firespirit Yeah you can't have full direct democracy or you get a tyranny of the majority. Parliamentary system seems to work -okay- in Canada but there are issues there as well.

Right wing doesn't look very pro-working class either.

They are?!! Why do many of the working class often vote against themselves, against their own interests?
Firespirit · 26-30, M
@SW-User Cause political figures are not held to there campaign promises plus the lack of choose is also a problem

At some time, the 1960-1970, the left realised a revolution could not happen in the western world, and turned into progressivism, focussing in what they called oppressed minorities: immigrants, racial minorities, LGBT.

They do not care about the working class anymore, they have turned their back on them since workers realise that immigration brings lower salaries, and reject it.

This trash nigga has a confederate flag profile pic, smh.
GypsyMiss · 41-45, F
Are they?! What is your definition of 'working class'?
GypsyMiss · 41-45, F
The left traditionally favours that. The right protects the interests of the upper/wealthier classes
Firespirit · 26-30, M
@GypsyMiss Traditionally yes but today's left is not traditionalist the left of the past were quite like that. but since the left changed in the 70s The working class has suffered
ladycae · 100+, F
@Firespirit it's not jut the working class. everyone has suffered. and it's not a left or right problem. its a 1%er problem. if you're in that 99% your screwed. and in reality the right has always curte the rich white men. not the left. it all started with reaganomics and the idea that giving money to the rich will trickle own to the rest of us. it's a great idea but it does not work. the right love that idea. the left does not.
Graylight · 51-55, F
Why can you make a complete generalization like that, back up with zero evidence, and think you can get legitimate responses?
thatscottishguy · 26-30, M
😂😂 The left wing aren't. I'm guessing you believe a lot of the American "left" to actually be left wing?
