Was Kennedy assassinated because he signed an order to shut down the Federal Reserve?

...And reform the dollar to be backed by precious metals again, or was it something else? I’d didn’t live then so I don’t know if he was particularly controversial or widely hated.

Think that was a major reason. His son was on a Sunday afternoon TV show and interviewed by Tony Brown (Tony Brown's Journal) and he asked him if he was hypothetically to become president what 3 things would he do first. He replied that the first thing would be to do what his father had planned on doing, replace the Federal Reserve with a gold and silver backed monetary system. It wasn't long after that when his plane went down and he died from the accident.

Actually, after reading that executive order, I find that it doesn't do that. It delegates a power of the presidency to the secretary of the treasury, but otherwise has no specific effect.

@Xuan12 In fact, in '63 Kennedy asked congress to phase out silver certificates in favor of federal reserve notes, so that the metal could be used for industrial purposes rather than as currency. If anything, this action increases the federal reserves power.

Pretty sure he was assassinated because a misguided outcast who hated the freedoms he thought he was denied took a rifle up to a book depository window and opened fire.

hi Shaun
He wasn't assassinated. He was shot by mistake by a secret service agent whose gun discharged by mistake.
Best wishes
:)
