TexChic is more creative. She called me a libtard a lot until I told her I was British and a socialist. Then she called me a 'Britard'. Such class. Such wit. 😂
windinhishair · 61-69, M
@Burnley123 If you told her you were from Texas, would you be a Textard?

It is unfortunate that for some obscure reason, every egotistical idiot seems to reserve the right to be insulting, THEN claim they have the RIGHT to be so as that's how they CHOOSE their description of 'Freedom of speech'.
You tend to notice it more when one party starts spouting stuff that is often 'anti-' this or anti - that as Trump did during his campaign.
And this constant..."If you're not with us you're part of the problem !" b/s
Always happens when folk have no ideas beyond the desire to see their choice get elected.

When I read those terms you mentioned, I immediately lose respect for the person using them. It is almost a guarantee that their mind is closed to anything other than what they already believe, whether it is true or not. Beliefs are not the same as truth or fact.

Yikes! I'm guilty of that! The problem is nowhere else do I say 'trumproaches' other than here! And never before 2016 have I been intolerant. I don't know what is wrong with me...sigh..

@Byron8by7 Tell me about it! After the Las Vegas shooting, there was a thread about guns, I have a personal thing with them, and I went off on a rant, got called out for it, apologized for ranting, then this person came out of the blue and called me a bitch with 'nerdy comebacks'! To my apology! All I could do was laugh, I mean, really?

@WalksWith I am careful about where, how, and with whom I comment here. For the most part, I tend to exchange replies with like minded people rather than those with views drastically different from mine. I have found that even trying to offer my point of view, let alone change someone's mind, is an exercise in futility.

A lot of them are not even particularly clever, or even used well. They're just a stand in meant to be offensive. As for ones that liberals used, there are some, one I actually liked because when I saw it it was being used in a rather subtle burn. At just one point in the piece, the author referred to "Trumpski", clearly a jab at his Russian connections.

I'm not worried. When compared to libtards I always look better because I am better, smarter, prettier and just more fun.

Or those that when talking about someone who supports a politician, referring to all their supporters as, racists, sexists, bigots. Instead of engaging in a conversation to find out what their actual reasons are. Yeah I tune out right away.

@Celine Yes those that are quick to accuse with no evidence normally are about the same.
