Only In California: Sacramento To Pay Gang Bangers If They Stop Killing People

The illogic of the left and their kowtowing to pure evil never ceases to amaze me. The left has walked off a cliff, passed the point of no return. They have no soul, their god has now clearly become defined by the appeasement of evil. The liberals have given new definition to the word quisling. The only thing they are willing to stand up against is truth and virtue. California is lost.....

Anyone who says that's going to bring crime down doesn't understand how gangs operate. First gangs are a corporation. I wish I could re-find it but there's a good article about how gangs operate like a corporation. There's a few scholarly articles on the hierarchy of gangs. The only difference between how a corporation is run and a gang, is that in a gang your boss can kill you. Even if you are retired and you are luckier than most to make it your 50s, you are still in the gang at least a little and stuff is still required of you. Like gee California thinks if the gang members witness murders, you think their just going to let you go? Like they just frolic in the fields and shit? All paying them money is going to do is bring in more money for their gang. Their not going to do shit with it. Gangs [b]require DUES.[/b] This will bring in money for them. Of course they will make it appear that the study "works."

Second, gangs have this thing and the name changes based on the gang but gangs have some children specifically to raise them as gang members. They indoctrinate them and get them ready for adulthood similar to that of children in cults. Paying individual gang members who are already in gangs is doing nothing to dismantle the actual hierarchy of gang [b]CULT[/b]ure.

They should pay these gang bangers, the going rate to make license plates behind bars.

One wonders how one would prove one had 'remained peaceful' in order to collect.
I don't envy 'reasonable thinkers' in America. Must be the toughest place on Earth to try and be one !

If criminal violent activity is curbed by such a measure, why not take it? And before the conservatives start with, "People will join gangs and then quit just for the money..." we're talking about a stipend to end a violent, cruel and empty lifestyle. No one's lining up to get shot or go to prison for a few bucks.

When guns for cash efforts are coordinated by the police, hundreds of firearms get off the street. Why not try it with the actual perpetrators? God forbid it spurs them to find a more peaceful, positive future.

As long as its gangbangers killing other gangbangers i dont see a problem... but yeah, sounds like liberal California

they won't let the cops do there job here in California and prison is not the punishment it should be. they need to make it open season on ALL gang members

It seems wrong paying them....educating yes. Rewarding them for violence seems unnatural to me. I will keep an open mind on this. I think they could get others to carry out crimes for them.

I bet this works a lot better than prison. It is given them a choice. You can do this with your life of face the consequences.

I think California (or another Western state) awhile back had a stipend program in H.S. for girls to stop getting pregnant also, so another stupid government incentive sounds about right.😒
