I Love Airplanes

I love living by an airport. The sound of jet noise is something I enjoy. The local airport I live by now is used by some Air National Guard KC-135 tankers to do touch and gos. When they do that, they turn right over my house. The loud military engines scream. If I am outside I stop and watch.

My parents live just near the Air base too.... And sometimes we get to watch the Migs practice from the terrace. It's awesome.... 馃槉

We used to live near a busy airport, but are glad to get away from it, as occasionally all conversation had to cease for 15 seconds or so as another plane thundered overhead. You get used to it, and don't generally notice most of them, but it's blissful to be away from it and just see planes as specks in the sky with vapour trails.
