I just got a phone call; one of those wee pre-recorded things, that informed me that I had to press one to be connected to revenue & customs

& if I didn't I'd get arrested today for tax fraud. I hung up. Looks like I've just quadruple booked myself today. Busy bee 🐝

@DeWayfarer I mean, they do keep a backlog of people who owe them money, in descending order of highest to lowest. Like, someone that owes a grand is less likely to be sought after than someone who owes fifteen grand.

I pressed one once, and asked to speak with a supervisor.

After fifteen minutes on hold, got hung up on. Hadn' received another call from that particular number since, but that doesn't work for all of them, only the small-time dumbshits.
