I Have Daddy Issues

I have a hard time being around my dad without it being super awkward . I have never been just really close with my dad but now when I visit it’s just silence we don’t really talk much and it breaks my heart that there is a bond that we will just never have . I feel awkward even hugging him it’s just weird

go watch baseball or football together - do spend sometime in what he likes doing and he'll open up to you - men aren't usually talkers - they like more action than talk

you have the chance at overcoming this - don't give up - most of us with daddy issues don't have dads around to even try and we end up looking for father figures in the wrong sort of people
