what would your religion be like if you could create one? [I Ask Questions]

We'd all carry bullet proof shields like we're a big deal and important.

Probably something like Buddhism. Individuals trying to reach levels of enlightenment, if I understand them right.

Prechristian polytheistic. Lots of festivals, open air celebrations, food, music and colour. We wouldn’t need to preach, it would be too fun a life not to.

Be brave, be strong, be a good host, work hard. That’s all that’s required if you to get into the next world.

Oh and human sacrifices.

Introspective appreciation of self and an out worldly understanding and acceptance of everything within my senses.

We are one in the Universal Mind, yet all on our individual paths to redemption. The tolerance and compassion to allow others to find their own place in this world, and choose their own path, is primary.
We are here, for a time, to learn that tolerance and compassion, and how to get along and help one another without prejudice, and on that, sadly, as a whole, we are failing miserably. Just look at all the superficial things that are causing so much hatred and division.

Like Scientology, only with dietary restrictions and special ceremonial dress.

Stealing from the rich. Giving to the poor. The Robin Hood Religion.

Animals and stress free living

Death for anybody who used religion as an excuse for any action whatsoever.

All money collected by anyone in the name of charity must be 100% used for charitable deeds.

Specific garments and rituals outlawed, worship or just communication on whatever basis you see fit.

Most people won't like it. There will be no superiority and fear and control and promises of punishments. I've not yet figured out the rest.

Worship nature spirits. A list of things to do and not to do. Maybe have the faithful lick toads. Nice hats and robes would be part of it.

It would discard bad choices and adopt good ones.

It would emphasize the study and practice of occultism and magick.

All sexy orgys and pasta

Lots of holidays where people get together and eat. Obviously the devout would be known by their loose, flowing garments.

There would be joyful celebrations about the sun rising. And the sun setting. And rain. And kindness would be strongly encouraged just because, not from the fear of punishment from a deity.

And artists (visual artists, writers, musicians, dancers) would be revered.

Lots of foot worship and socks are banned
