Living in another country

Cohabiting with and tolerating people who have drastically different cultures and opinions.
Learning to practice diplomacy at work.
Losing everything in order to truly learn to find gratitude in the smallest blessings.
Searching for your second wind to fight your way back up.

Basically stuff that would make you more resilient and humble.

Remembering to breathe is very important.

One you learn from that makes you a better person. Or one that you enjoy and makes you feel like life was worth it all.

Becoming a father and being a stay at home dad with my three children.

Those are different for everyone.
