I'm just trying to be tolerant and appreciative of my present company....
...but it's not easy when it's hanging out on the wall right next to me. I keep telling myself,"It eats insects, not Humans. There is nothing to worry about." Unfortunately the hairs on the back of my neck don't agree...:-)
I had a yellow jacket wasp in my bed trying to land on me the other night. Three times it tried. I told it I was going to get my cups to catch it and set it free outside and when I came back, it completely disappeared. 👀
When I said ‘quieter’ in reply below, it made me wonder if any spiders vocalize. Apparently not - except one which rustles dead leaves as a mating ploy, and the tarantula, which produces a hissing sound via rubbing body parts.
It could be worse. That could be a tarantula the size of your hand hissing at you.
@Mamapolo2016 Hah ! How is this for odd ? I was a cop for 21 yrs and ran off the edge of a perfectly good mountain over 150 times with a hang glider, but a little spider gives me the heebee jeebees. So I'm a brave wuss. Who would have thought that such a thing could exist. 😸
@SW-User I am smoking a joint right now so maybe it wanted to share. Looks like it's napping now. Although I don't know if spiders do nap. Maybe it's a tactic of some kind. 🙂
