My German Shepard is breathing really weird, like he’s choking/struggling to breathe. Not really sure how to explain it, and he keeps being sick, any ideas what’s wrong with him? This has been going on for about 30 minutes.
Get him to the vet right now, because it could possibly be a torsion, or rotation of his stomach. This is common in large breeds, and is a life threatening situation. If it's not, best to know, so he can be healed.
@SW-User Thought I would update you, they ran tests and were worried about the rotation of his stomach like you said but they didn’t find anything serious, he is home and well, picked him up 6 hours ago, resting and recovering.

@DHggmu thank you so much for letting me know! I'm so glad he's recovering. Sweet pup! Hug him for me
Just an update in case anyone is interested, he’s been kept in the vets overnight for blood tests and X-rays to figure out what’s wrong, thanks again to any that tried to help.
Hey I'm a Vet. I would take him to the VET ASAP. If he keeps trying to vomit but nothing really is coming up, then this could be what is called a GDV, which is extremely life threatening. Take him in ASAP
Vet. Will it drink, lick ice, etc? It could be an allergy to something - throat closing up. Had a neighbor who's dog went into anaphylactic shock over some vaccine, if I recall correctly.
He needs a vet right away. It could be something like over heating, but it could also be serious like getting into something he shouldn't (like antifreeze). Impossible to tell online.

Take him to the vet right now. No one qualified would risk losing his or her veterinary license over advice given online about an animal they haven't personally checked.
