Congratulations to the team of biologists who managed to capture photos of a black leopard in Kenya.

Hello sneaky, precious and beautiful cat. You rock !

I love that first pic.
Wraithorn · 51-55, M
@5thApprentice Me too. If that cat hunted you then you wouldn't see it until until it's teeth are sinking into your neck.

That was so amazing! I bet he is so chuffed.
Wraithorn · 51-55, M
@SW-User Yes, Apparently they are slightly more common in Asia but only ever seen a few times in Kenya and nowhere else in Africa.

@Wraithorn Interesting. I didn't know that. Leopards are generally hard to spot anyway.
Wraithorn · 51-55, M
@SW-User Yes, they are very elusive. I once knew a man who became a millionaire by helping hunters from other countries find and kill leopards here. I didn't like him a lot.
Mugin16 · 46-50, M
Great photos!

Could it be that black jaguares are more common than black leopards?
Wraithorn · 51-55, M
@Mugin16 I don't actually know. All I know is that all black cats have a condition carried in their parents genes which is the opposite of albinism.
Mugin16 · 46-50, M
@Wraithorn I have seen some photos and Videos of black jaguars.

Is this that forrest guy that was just on joe rogan? That episode was awesome.
Wraithorn · 51-55, M
@Anon066 I don't know Joe Rogan. Apparently Nick Pilfold was the team leader.
nedkelly · 61-69, M
Give it a couple of weeks and they will be killed
Wraithorn · 51-55, M
@nedkelly And hanging on some fuckwits wall in another country ? I hope not.
@nedkelly 😔
Awesome. I love cats.
Wraithorn · 51-55, M
@Wtrcolour So do I.
