Do you think the Dog pound would hold onto the dog for me if I tell them I wanted to adopt it?

I have been looking to adopt a second dog. One preferably the same age as the pup I adopted a few months back. I just noticed there is a Fox terrier puppy in the pound and a notice saying any interested has to be in by Friday the 20th. I think that means they'll put him down if no one is interested. Thing is. I'm going away that day and wont be back for a week. Do you think they would hold onto this pup until I get back?

You need to ring them and ask. Don't mean to be judgy but I'd be asking around and see if someone could look after him till I get back. Where is your dog you have now going?

I have booked him in at the Boarding kennels. I'll be taking him thee tomorrow afternoon. I dunno if the boarding place has room for one more. @AliceTinker

Your best bet is to call or stop by and explain your situation. If they really want the pup to be adopted, I am sure they will hold em for you until you get back. :)
