What noises trigger your pets to beg for food?

My oldest parakeet, Ike, likes to beg for greens when he hears a plastic bag rattling...I threw a bag in the kitchen trash can yesterday and he started saying "Thank you! Thank you!" dozens of times, that's Ike's way of asking for greens...the equivalent of a dog begging when it hears a cheese wrapper crinkling...

My cat doesn't actually beg, but his little bowl is right next to my recliner chair, and if I leave the computer and sit in the chair, he will usually be right there. He jumps up on my lap, 'nurses' on my leg for a little while, walks back and forth across my lap for a few minutes...and then when he has been petted and is done with his ritual, he jumps down and sits in front of his bowl, staring at me fixedly, as though to say, "WHEN are you going to GET what this means?????"
Any time Carl, my guinea pig, hears a noise he thinks it’s food for him and starts his whistling 😂 my other animals don’t really get triggered by noise like that except my cat Sammy, every time should would hear something shaking in a can she would full speed run to wherever the noise is coming from because she thinks they’re her treats.

A rattle of the tin we keep the cat treats in will have out cat running. And a couple of specific noises we make to call him often work too.

But more often than not, he just stares and me and meow-yells until I give him the treats LOL
